Description: I've always loved dandelions and couldn't help but to take a stab at trying to paint a little patch of them setting seed. You may notice that one of the seeds has broken free from the others and sits perched atop the dandelion in the foreground. The title of the piece, 'Await', is derived from the sense that, with even the slightest breeze, this seed would begin an exciting new journey to anywhere. I guess to my mind it represents any one of us who has struggled to break free from an undesirable situation only to await, in anxious anticipation, the next opportunity to begin a new and liberating phase of life.
