Description: This piece is my interpretation of an image I captured at Caribou Falls State Wayside between Schroeder and Silver Bay, Minnesota back in January of 2020. In addition to the January full moon being commonly referred to as the 'Wolf Moon', the Celtic calendar calls it the 'Birch Moon'. I painted this piece to honor the transcendent beauty of the North Shore of Minnesota in winter time.
